    I'm reading the backlist and enjoyed your thoughts on Flawless. It's been on my list for awhile and you've only made me want to read it more. One topic you bring up is "why do we cheer for the bad guys?" It's a good question. I rooted right along with you for the team in the Ocean's movies, etc. I think it's something of the cleverness of the criminal and the thought of all the riches gained. I loved Bringing Down the House by Ben Mezrich which though a bit different, as I thought hey, they should be able to beat the house if they can, still evoked that feeling of Yes!

    Another to add to your list if you haven't already read it is The Gardner Heist: The True Story of the World's Largest Unsolved Art Theft by Boser Ulrich or

      Hi Carol — thanks so much for your comment. I am not a fan of Mezrich myself but Bringing Down the house was a great story. I haven't even heard of the Ulrich book but it totally looks like something I would love. Have added it to my to buy queue. Amazing. Thanks.
