Bronson: Anti-Authority Art Flic

So how do you make a movie about a problem prisoner who is a nihilist, a brawler, and a poet? You make an art film. Nicolas Winding Refn’s film Bronson is half stage play and half satirical blood opera (think A Clockwork Orange). It is not so much a biopic as it is a musical number about madness. Tom Hardy, as Bronson, is amazing. The look of this film is astounding. I can’t say that the concept of Bronson-the-man is that interesting, but the film is compelling.
